Magic Kingdom Park Reservations Unavailable for Passholders Tomorrow in Wake of Hurricane Helene

Adding to the list of impacts as Hurricane Helene moves through the southern United States, Magic Kingdom park reservations have become unavailable for Passholders tomorrow.

In what has become commonplace, park reservation availability becomes somewhat limited in the days immediately following a severe storm. While the other three parks remain available to Passholders, Magic Kingdom is “sold out” at the time of publishing. The park continues to offer reservations for ticketholders and resort guests.

However, with the return of all-day park hopping, Passholders can enter one of the other parks and then visit Magic Kingdom afterwards. Additionally, a park reservation is not required for Magic Kingdom after 2:00pm on weekdays. Anyone considering visiting the park should note there is a Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party taking place in the evening, so the park will close at 6:00pm to day guests. Tonight’s party was proactively canceled.

With Magic Kingdom having by far the most attractions, it’s normal for Disney to try to throttle the number of guests entering the park early in the day as they assess the park for any possible damage. Some rides and experiences may have delayed openings. Passholders can continue to check park reservation availability here.

Yesterday, Disney announced the closure of Typhoon Lagoon water park and both miniature golf courses. Additionally, several animal tours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom have been canceled due to the storm.

Hurricane Helene has been rapidly intensifying as it approaches the Florida coast. The storm is expected to bring catastrophic winds, life-threatening storm surge, and heavy rainfall to large portions of the state. While Walt Disney World is not in the direct path of the hurricane’s eye, the resort is experiencing tropical storm-force winds.
