Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Cancelled Thursday Due to Hurricane Milton

As a result of Hurricane Milton, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for Thursday, October 10th, has been cancelled. Walt Disney World currently sits under a hurricane warning as the system approaches Florida.

Disney has said that they will refund all tickets for the event. With Hurricane Milton projected to move across the state on Thursday, attempting to hold the party would have presented many safety concerns for guests and cast members. Unfortunately for most of those guests, attending on an alternate event night will not be an option. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has completely sold out for the 2024 season.

The cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is happening alongside closures of the Walt Disney World theme parks.

Another Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was cancelled only two weeks ago. That one was preemptively cancelled due to Hurricane Helene, which had a much smaller impact on the Orlando area and did not result in park closures.
