Tokyo Disney Resort Offering Second Buzz Lightyear Monorail Pass Design

As part of the ongoing “Complete the Mission!” campaign at Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters in Tokyo Disneyland, the resort is offering a second special limited-edition design for its 1-day Disney Resort Line monorail pass.

From September 19 through October 31, 2024, guests purchasing the 1-day monorail pass receive a ticket featuring Buzz Lightyear and the “Complete the Mission!” theme. However, from October 25th to October 31st, a second limited ticket is being offered. This unique design adds an extra touch of Disney magic for guests traveling around the resort on the monorail.

Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters Campaign

The special monorail pass design ties into the “Complete the Mission!” campaign at Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters, running through October 31, 2024.

In this interactive dark ride, guests board space cruisers equipped with astro blasters to defeat the evil Emperor Zurg and his minions. Those who score over 1 million points receive a retro-style sticker prize, available by showing their high score photo to a cast member at the attraction’s exit.

Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters is set to close permanently on October 31, 2024, making this campaign and the commemorative monorail pass a final celebration of the attraction.
