Tokyo Disney Resort has announced an exciting new experience for Marvel fans and Disney enthusiasts alike. From January 15 through June 30, 2025, Tokyo Disneyland Park will present “it’s a small world with Groot,” a special limited-time version of the classic attraction featuring beloved characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This marks the first time that Marvel characters will be integrated into an attraction at Tokyo Disney Resort.
‘it’s a small world with Groot’
In this unique version of “it’s a small world,” Groot, the beloved tree-like character from Guardians of the Galaxy, along with other Marvel Super Heroes, will take a vacation on Earth, bringing their adventures to the whimsical and colorful world of this iconic attraction. The Marvel characters will be redesigned in the endearing style that “it’s a small world” is known for, blending seamlessly with the ride’s charming aesthetic.
A First for Tokyo Disney Resort
This special overlay represents a historic moment for Tokyo Disney Resort, as it’s the first time that Marvel characters will be featured in an attraction there. “it’s a small world with Groot” offers guests a rare opportunity to see their favorite Marvel heroes in a completely new and imaginative setting, making it a must-see for both Marvel fans and Disney park-goers.
Temporary Closure for Transformation
To prepare for this limited-time experience, “it’s a small world” will temporarily close from September 17, 2024, through January 14, 2025. This closure will allow for the necessary changes and installations to bring the Marvel-themed version of the ride to life.
