Exciting news for fans of TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park! Beginning on September 9, 2024, the popular attraction will introduce a standby queue, allowing guests to join the line without needing a virtual queue reservation. This shift marks a new phase for the high-speed coaster, which has been operating with a virtual queue system since its debut.
Virtual Queue Until September 8, 2024
For those planning to visit Magic Kingdom before September 9, the virtual queue will remain in place through September 8, 2024. Guests can still access TRON Lightcycle / Run by securing a virtual queue spot via the My Disney Experience app. Two other Walt Disney World attractions will continue to use the virtual queue system: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
What to Expect from the TRON Lightcycle Run Standby Queue
Once the standby queue opens, guests will have the option to wait in line for this thrilling ride without needing to reserve a spot in advance. This offers more flexibility for those hoping to experience the attraction at their convenience. Keep in mind, the popularity of TRON Lightcycle / Run means that lines may still be long, especially during peak times.
Guests who prefer to bypass the standby queue altogether may still opt for the Individual Lightning Lane purchase instead of the TRON Lightcycle / Run standby option.
