Typhoon Lagoon & Mini Golf Courses Closing, Animal Kingdom Tours Canceled Due to Hurricane Helene

Walt Disney World has announced the following Hurricane Helene closures and cancellations. These changes impact water parks, miniature golf courses, and outdoor experiences at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. These adjustments come shortly after Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was canceled for September 26th.

Water Parks

  • Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is temporarily closed on Thursday, September 26. Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park is currently closed for the season.
  • Beachcomber Shack (cabanas) and Typhoon Lagoon Umbrella rentals are canceled for Thursday, September 26.

Miniature Golf

Miniature golf courses at Walt Disney World Resort are temporarily closed on Thursday, September 26. These include:
